Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Shringaar by Madhuram (“Madhuram”, “we”) collects when you visit madhuram.app, order from us or talk to us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, and how we use and protect it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Information we collect
What you give us
- Contact details: name, mobile number and email.
- Delivery address and pincode.
- Measurements, if you choose stitching to measure.
- Messages, photos and unboxing videos you send us about an order, return or exchange.
- Your email or number if you join the Madhuram Club for news and offers.
What is collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as device type, browser and pages visited, to keep the site working and understand what people like.
- Your cart and checkout details are saved in your own browser so you don’t lose them. We don’t receive them until you send your order.
Payments
Payments are made by UPI or through our payment partner. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by them and never reach us; we only see whether the payment succeeded.
How we use your information
- To confirm, pack, ship and track your order.
- To handle returns, exchanges, store credit and questions.
- To send order updates on WhatsApp, SMS or email.
- To send new collections and offers, only if you’ve joined the Club. You can opt out anytime.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share only what’s needed with:
- Courier partners: your name, phone number and address, to deliver your parcel.
- Payment partners: to process your payment.
- Service providers that host this site or send our messages, under confidentiality.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are run by Meta and have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
The site uses your browser’s storage to remember your cart and saved address. If we add analytics, it will only measure visits in aggregate. You can clear or block this in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep order details for as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax and accounting rules (usually up to 8 years for invoices). Store credit records are kept for as long as the credit is valid.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we limit who can see your details. No system is completely secure, so please don’t send card or bank details on chat. We will never ask for your OTP or PIN.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal details we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages. Message us onWhatsApp or email[email protected]. We reply within 7 working days.
Children
Our site is not meant for anyone under 18 to place orders. Orders for children should be placed by a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
